Architectural Digest did a feature on James and Nicky Hilton Rothschild’s NoHo penthouse.. and it’s incredible. The light & airy space is filled with historical family keepsakes, traditional elements and everyday function for their adorable family. The couple met at a wedding outside of Rome in 2011 and decided to move in the middle, he was in London and she was in LA, which landed them in Manhattan. They now share their amazing abode with kiddos Lily Grace, Teddy Marilyn and their cats Mac and Cheese. The penthouse is home to treasured pieces James brought with him from London like two chairs from the coronation of King Edward VII.. to simple pieces like the nursery rug from Etsy. James did the majority of designing with Nicky adding her feminine touches. “I grew up in a house full of antiques and fancy fabrics and certain rooms you weren’t allowed to go in,” Nicky explains. “And as a child I always told myself that I will never have that when I’m grown up; I would have a house where no room is off-limits.” The sophisticated, comfy home is what our dreams are made of!
