Chi Chi, this adorable therapy dog, can’t stop smiling and spreading love wherever she goes. The 3 year old golden retriever is one of the happiest little dogs around. Chi Chi was found in a dumpster in South Korea, her legs tied and bound with wire.. the tissue was so damaged it was infected. When a rescue group found her they took her to an emergency vet who had to amputate all four of her legs in order to save her. A day after surgery, the rescue group posted a video of Chi Chi, who was already smiling and wagging her tail, on their site. Elizabeth Howell, of Arizona, saw the video and knew she had to bring Chi Chi home. Within a few months Chi Chi learned to trust her new family. The Howells had prosthetic legs made for her which allow her to run, jump and climb. Chi Chi now works as a therapy dog at a local VA Hospital and an Elementary School. Richard, her owner, told People, “She’s an amazing soul, she’s more than an animal, she really touches everybody she meets in a positive way. Her story proves you can go through something horrendous and with the right attitude you can get through anything.” Check out Chi Chi’s inspiring Facebook page.
